Enterprise Manager does not show databases

Hello...
We rebooted an SQL server last week...nothing installed or changed, just a
reboot.
Now, Enterprise Manager does not show any databases listed, however they are
present, they are being used, no calls or complaints. Query Analyzer lets
you run queries against them, just EM does not list any db's. We have tried
the hide/unhide on the General tab of the Properties box. It also seems any
scheduled jobs are not running, for dumping the tran logs, etc.
We are going to try a reboot when we can, but since the users are not
complaining, it will be awhile.
Anything I could check to fix this without rebooting?
Win2k3 server, SQL2000 SP3a
Thanks.
Hi,
Can you try right-click on "Microsoft SqlServer" and add try creating a
new sql server group followed by new sqlserver registration with one of the
lost server name? I am not sure why it is lost, but I think it is worth
trying if it allows registration of the lost servers.
Thanks,

|||Thanks CD,
We ended up rebooting it after hours Friday night and everything showed up
as expected.
I appreciate your reply.
