Enterprise Manager

Is there a license limitation on how many SQL Ent Manager that I can install
on desktops?Yes, Enterprise Manager must be licensed just like any other application.
That means that if you use SQL Server Standard Edition you need a CAL
(Client Access License) for every server on every desktop on which you
install EM. If your servers all have a processor license, you can install EM
and the other SQL tool on any desktop you like within your company.

rise Edition can be licensed in CAL or per Processor mode. If you have prop
erly licensed the end user/device that access the system, then you can insta
ll any of the client-side tools for those users/devices.
