I'm running a local MSSQL 2000 server and everything has worked fine until
this week... when it suddenly stopped working and to fix it I had to
reinstall the master database... which now allows the server to run.
My problem is however that I cannot login to the database using windows
authentication mode... and when selecting new sql server registration within
enterprise manager and then clicking on the browse feature nothing is
returned as an active server.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to resolve this?
For instance as I have reinstalled all the default databases do I have to
reset default usernames, etc... and if so how... as you can see I'm lost...
help?
Steve
